This will be another busy week as we will celebrate Valentine’s Day on Thursday.  Remember each child will need to bring a valentine for every child in the class.  Thursday will be a non-uniform day, but you need to wear something celebrating the day.  Thursday is also Chick-fil-day.  Make sure you check out our Voice Thread highlighting our Georgia Day reports.  You can access our page from our class website.

This will be a very busy week.  We are working hard to complete our pillows for Georgia Day.  We are also working on recording our reports.  These will be posted on our web site so you can hear them at home.  Our annual Georgia Day Celebration will be held on Friday.  We will be going over at 1:00 to see the exhibits.  Parents are welcome to join us.  We are also working on cards to send to various classes around the U.S. and a school in Canada.  We will also be receiving cards from these school.  Pictures of the cards will be posted on our website as they arrive.

Our Christmas break is almost over and I can’t wait to get back to school.  I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.  Our ActivBoard is installed and ready to go.  January will be a very busy l for us as we complete our study on matter and begin working towards Georgia Day.  Georgia Day projects will be assigned the first week of January because we will need time to complete our in class project.  We will be adding 3 weekly vocabulary words to our spelling list and look for us to begin cursive writing very soon.  I hope you have practiced your math over the break.  we will continue to add more addition and subtraction facts and will soon begin working with multiplication.  See you all Thursday.
